Louisiana Appeals Panel Rejects Value Of Gas Reserves, Vacates Land Sale Rescission
Mealey's (June 16, 2015, 3:08 PM EDT) -- LAKE CHARLES, La. — A unanimous Third Circuit Louisiana Court of Appeal panel reversed a trial court order rescinding the sale of real property on the grounds that the valuation of natural gas accepted by the trial court was speculative with respect to the value of untested natural gas (Tammy Renea Martin Harruff, et al. v. Richard B. King, et al., No. 13-940, La. App., 3rd Cir.).
