Magistrate Denies In Part School Administrator’s Opinion In Race Discrimination Suit
Mealey's (November 13, 2015, 1:42 PM EST) -- CINCINNATI — A former school administrator may testify in a racial discrimination lawsuit on the standard of professional care when supervising students, an Ohio federal magistrate judge held Nov. 10; however, the administrator may not opine that defendants were "deliberately indifferent" or "severely indifferent" to the alleged harassment (Austin Brooks, et al. v. Susie Jane Skinner, et al., No. 14-412, S.D. Ohio; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 152586).
