Judge Bars Statistician From Testifying In Faulty Design Suit Against GM

LOUIS — A statistician is excluded from testifying about statistical associations and comparative risk in a lawsuit against General Motors LLC alleging defects in the design and manufacture of one of its vehicles that was subject of an underlying motor vehicle accident, a Missouri federal judge held Nov. 10 (Lauretta Roberts v. General Motors, LLC, No. 13-541, E.D. Mo.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 152183).
