Shareholder Sues GNC For Alleged Securities Law Violations In Sale Of Products

(November 12, 2015, 8:29 AM EST) -- PORTLAND, Ore. — A shareholder filed a securities class action lawsuit against General Nutrition Corp. (GNC) and certain current and former executive officers on Oct. 29 in Oregon federal court, alleging that the defendants failed to disclose that GNC was selling products that contained banned ingredients under U.S. Food and Drug Administration law in violation of federal securities laws (Jonathan Gorrie v. General Nutrition Corp., et al., No. 15-2037, D. Ore.).
