Apple Seeks Certiorari From U.S. Supreme Court In E-Book Price Fixing Case

(November 11, 2015, 11:33 AM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Apple Inc. filed a petition for a writ of certiorari in the U.S. Supreme Court on Oct. 28, appealing the Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals’ finding that it violated antitrust laws by conspiring to fix electronic book (e-book) prices along with a group of e-book publishers (Apple Inc. v. United States of America, et al., No. 15-565, U.S. Sup.).
