(November 10, 2015, 11:44 AM EST) -- RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Concluding that sufficient evidence existed to support judgments in favor of three wards of a correctional facility related to sexual misconduct by a correctional counselor, a California appeals panel on Oct. 20 mostly affirmed a trial court’s judgment against the counselor and his superiors, finding that the effect of any evidentiary or jury instruction errors was harmless (Guillermo Ruelas, et al. v. Jerry Harper, et al., No. E051961, Calif. App., 4th Dist.; 2015 Cal. App. Unpub. LEXIS 7570).
