Slip-And-Fall Case Remains In Georgia Federal Court

Mealey's (November 10, 2015, 11:28 AM EST) -- MACON, Ga. — A federal judge in Georgia on Nov. 3 denied a plaintiff’s motion to remand her premises liability case to state court, finding that the defendant removed the case in a timely manner (Naomi Devereaux v. The Kroger Company, No. 5:15‐CV‐233 [CAR], M.D. Ga., Macon Div.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 148494).
