Judge Allows Chiropractor To Amend Allegations On Fraudulent Billing Scheme

Mealey's (November 9, 2015, 10:48 AM EST) -- WICHITA, Kan. — A federal judge in Kansas on Nov. 5 denied a chiropractic firm’s motion to dismiss a man’s False Claims Act (FCA) lawsuit accusing it of fraudulently billing Medicare for services that were medically unnecessary or not provided after finding that the plaintiff needed to include more facts about the alleged scheme (United States of America, ex rel. Marcus Feaster v. Dopps Chiropractic Clinic LLC, No. 13-1453-EFM-KGG, D. Kan.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 150321).
