Texas Appeals Court Reverses $1.2M Ethicon Pelvic Mesh Verdict

(November 6, 2015, 1:59 PM EST) -- DALLAS — A Texas appeals panel on Nov. 5 reversed a $1.2 million verdict in an Ethicon Inc. pelvic mesh trial after finding that the plaintiff presented insufficient evidence that the device caused her alleged injuries (Johnson & Johnson, et al. v. Linda Batiste, No. 05-14-00864, Texas App., 5th Dist.; 2015 Tex. App. LEXIS 11517).
