No Abuse Of Discretion In Denial Of Benefits, Maryland Federal Judge Says

(November 6, 2015, 9:16 AM EST) -- BALTIMORE — A disability insurer did not abuse its discretion in denying a claim for long-term disability benefits because the denial was reasonable and supported by substantial evidence, a Maryland federal judge said Oct. 20 (Robert Neno v. Aetna Life Insurance Co., No. 14-03071, D. Md.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 142171).
