Municipality: Fracking Group May Not Intervene In Anti-Drilling Ordinance Case

(November 5, 2015, 2:20 PM EST) -- PITTSBURGH — A Pennsylvania municipality being sued by a hydraulic fracturing company that is challenging an ordinance prohibiting underground injection control (UIC) wells on Nov. 3 moved in Pennsylvania federal court to strike the intervener complaint of a fracking industry trade group (Pennsylvania General Energy Company LLC v. Grant Township, No. 14-209, W.D. Pa.).
