Discovery Deadline Extended In Fracking Contract Dispute; Deposition Unfinished

(November 4, 2015, 11:57 AM EST) -- FORT MYERS, Fla. — A federal magistrate judge in Florida on Oct. 29 extended a discovery deadline in a hydraulic fracturing contract dispute and ruled that the plaintiffs, which provided a water containment system for use in fracking operations, could complete the deposition of a corporate representative affiliated with the defendant after his testimony was initially terminated — in the plaintiff’s words — due to the witness’ “hostility and destructiveness”(Total Containment Solutions Inc. v.
