Federal Judge Grants Summary Judgment To Store In Alleged Spider Bite Case
Mealey's (November 4, 2015, 11:46 AM EST) -- MOBILE, Ala. — A federal judge in Alabama on Oct. 26 found that a woman who sued Wal-Mart Supercenter alleging that she was bitten by a spider in one of its stores failed to prove that the store breached its duty to her or that she even was bitten, granting the retailer summary judgment (Brenda Taite v. Wal-Mart Supercenter, No. 1:14-CV-00435-KD-C. S.D. Ala.).
