Water Agencies Defend Equitable Defenses In Groundwater Dispute
Mealey's (November 3, 2015, 10:02 AM EST) -- RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Two California water agencies on Oct. 19 told a federal court that their equitable defenses against the groundwater claims of a Native American tribe should not be dismissed by summary judgment (Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians v. Coachella Valley Water District, et al., No. 13-883, C.D. Calif., Eastern Div.).
