Judge: Plaintiffs Must File Brief Saying Why Case Should Not Be Dismissed

(November 2, 2015, 7:41 AM EST) -- PITTSBURGH — The federal judge in Pennsylvania presiding over a groundwater contamination lawsuit brought by a group of residents against a power company on Oct. 13 ordered the plaintiffs to submit a brief addressing the sole question of why summary judgment should not be granted in favor of the power company. The judge gave the plaintiffs 21 days to file the brief (Margaret S. Culp v. Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group Inc., No. 14-00639, W.D. Pa.).
