Receiver: Estate Missed 67 Claimants In Request To Pay $6M Interest On Claims
(October 30, 2015, 7:28 AM EDT) -- OKLAHOMA CITY — The receiver of an insolvent insurer told an Oklahoma state court on Oct. 20 that he had inadvertently missed 67 claimants in an earlier application to be allowed the authority to pay more than 1,000 claimants interest totaling more than $6 million (State of Oklahoma v. AmCare Health Plans of Oklahoma, Inc., No. CJ-2003-5311, Okla. Dist., Oklahoma Co.).
