Missouri Federal Judge: Offer Of Judgment Doesn’t Moot TCPA Class Claims

LOUIS — A Missouri federal judge on Oct. 21 denied without prejudice a motion for class certification in a suit over unsolicited faxes but refused to strike the class allegations and determined that the defendant’s offer of judgment did not moot the claims (Connector Castings, Inc. v. Joseph T. Ryerson & Son, Inc., d/b/a Ryerson, et al., No. 15-851, E.D. Mo.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 142906).
