6th Circuit Affirms: Recipes Not Entitled To Copyright Protection
(October 27, 2015, 1:45 PM EDT) -- CINCINNATI — An Ohio federal judge properly granted defendants summary judgment on allegations that they committed copyright infringement by using a plaintiff’s recipes in connection with their catering business, the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled Oct. 20 (Tomaydo-Tomahhdo LLC, et al. v. George Vozary, et al., No. 15-3179, 6th Cir.).
