Federal Judge Remands Sandy Hook Shooting Suit To Connecticut Superior Court

Mealey's (October 26, 2015, 3:20 PM EDT) -- NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A federal judge in Connecticut on Oct. 9 issued a memorandum explaining that he remanded a lawsuit brought by survivors and family members of victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting to state court on Sept. 30 because the defense did not prove fraudulent joinder (Donna Soto, et al v. Bushmaster Firearms International, LLC, et al., No. 3:15cv68, D. Conn.).
