Judge: Insured Properly Pleaded Bad Faith Claim

(October 23, 2015, 2:37 PM EDT) -- SCRANTON, Pa. — A federal judge in Pennsylvania on Oct. 16 denied an insurer’s motion to dismiss, ruling that an insured has properly pleaded her statutory bad faith claim (Joan Yatsonsky v. State Farm Fire & Casualty Co., No. 15-1777, M.D. Pa.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 140748).
