Mealey's (October 23, 2015, 2:07 PM EDT) -- ALBANY, N.Y. — A New York appeals panel on Oct. 22 reversed a lower court’s ruling that granted a doctor insured’s motion to change venue in a bad faith coverage dispute arising from an underlying $8.6 million medical malpractice lawsuit (Healthcare Professionals Insurance Co. v. Michael A. Parentis, et al., No. 520780, N.Y. Sup., App. Div., 3rd Dept.; 2015 N.Y. App. Div. LEXIS 7835).
