Lipitor MDL Judge Says Plaintiff Experts Must Show Dosage Causes Diabetes
(October 23, 2015, 1:07 PM EDT) -- CHARLESTON, S.C. — The South Carolina federal judge overseeing the Lipitor diabetes multidistrict litigation on Oct. 22 ordered plaintiff experts to supplement their reports and specify what dosages of the statin drug allegedly cause diabetes (In Re: Lipitor [Atorvastatin Calcium] Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 2501, No. 14-mn-2502, D. S.C., Charleston Div.).
