Mississippi Supreme Court Remands Premises Liability Suit To Trial Court
(October 22, 2015, 8:21 AM EDT) -- JACKSON, Miss. — The Mississippi Supreme Court on Oct. 8 overturned a summary judgment ruling in a premises liability suit against the management of an apartment complex, finding that there was a genuine issue of material fact as to whether the managers had actual knowledge that a tenant later convicted of murdering his roommate had a propensity toward violent behavior (Katerina Galanis and Christina Galanis v. CMA Management Company, No. 2012-CT-01757-SCT, Miss. Sup.).
