Judge: Putative Class’ Shareholder Claims Barred By Statute Of Limitations
(October 16, 2015, 12:35 PM EDT) -- MINNEAPOLIS — A federal judge in Minnesota on Sept. 30 granted a motion for summary judgment and denied class certification to a group of shareholder plaintiffs who had contended that a medical device manufacturer had made false statements about pending federal approval that affected the company’s stock prices (West Virginia Pipe Trades Health & Welfare Fund v. Medtronic Inc., et al., No. 13-1686, D. Minn.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 132547).
