Federal Judge Certifies Class In Securities Class Action Lawsuit
(October 15, 2015, 1:56 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A federal judge in New York on Sept. 24 granted a motion for class certification, as well as motions for appointment as class representative and appointment of class counsel filed by shareholders in a securities class action lawsuit, ruling that the shareholders have properly met all statutory requirements for approval (In re Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Securities Litigation, No. 10-3461, S.D. N.Y.).
