Parties Ask High Court To Determine Whether Brady Factors Were Properly Applied

(October 15, 2015, 12:08 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Parties in a stock fraud criminal action asked the U.S. Supreme Court recently to determine whether the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals properly applied Supreme Court precedent in Brady v. Maryland in convicting the plaintiff on charges of wire fraud, securities fraud and conspiracy to commit securities fraud (George Georgiou v. United States of America, No. 14-1535, U.S. Sup.).
