Amazon.com Accused Of Violating The FCRA With Pre-Employment Checks

(October 15, 2015, 11:38 AM EDT) -- TRENTON, N.J. — Amazon.com LLC and Amazon.com.dedc LLC (collectively, Amazon) violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) when they ran background reports on prospective employees and failed to comply with the preadverse action notice requirement and failed to provide a copy of the allegedly inaccurate background report they obtained before taking adverse action, a New Jersey man alleges in a class complaint filed Oct. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey (Theo Feldstein, et al. v.
