Residents: Judge Should Order Water Treatment System’s Designer To Give Deposition

(October 15, 2015, 9:21 AM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania residents who are suing hydraulic fracturing company Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. alleging that it contaminated their drinking water filed a brief on Sept. 25 in federal court, contending that they have provided “sufficient factual and legal underpinning” for the court to order the deposition of the engineer of who works for the company that runs Cabot’s water treatment system (Nolen Scott Ely v. Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation, No. 09-2284, M.D. Pa.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 57267).
