California Federal Judge Rules In Favor Of Insurer In Disability Suit
(October 15, 2015, 9:06 AM EDT) -- RIVERSIDE, Calif. — A federal judge in California on Sept. 28 granted summary judgment in favor of an insurer, ruling that it does not owe a policy holder additional disability benefits after having paid her benefits for the maximum time allowed by the policy (Fidelity Security Life Insurance Company v. Barbara Ellen Dunn-Leonard, No. EDCV-15-399 JGB, M.D. Calif.).
