Federal Judge Sets 2016 Trial Date In IBM Insider Trading Lawsuit
(October 14, 2015, 3:04 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — Based on the U.S. Supreme Court’s denial of certiorari in United States v. Newman, a federal judge in New York on Oct. 6 set a February trial date for an insider trading trial stemming from IBM’s 2009 acquisition of another company (Securities and Exchange Commission v. Daryl M. Payton, et al., No. 14-4644, S.D. N.Y.).
