Iowa Federal Magistrate Judge Conditionally Certifies Plant Worker’s Age Bias Class

(October 14, 2015, 2:53 PM EDT) -- SIOUX CITY, Iowa — An Iowa federal magistrate judge on Oct. 6 conditionally certified a class of plant workers who allege that they were improperly chosen for termination during a reduction in force (RIF) due to their age (Dennis Behr, et al. v. AADG, Inc., d/b/a Curries, No. 14-3075, N.D. Iowa; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 136036).
