Reichhold Settles With Ohio On Remediation Costs For Contaminated Site

(October 14, 2015, 10:45 AM EDT) -- WILMINGTON, Del. — Chapter 11 debtor Reichhold Inc. will pay the State of Ohio $75,000, and the state will have a $7.1 million proof of claim in the bankruptcy case, to settle the state’s claims that Reichhold is responsible for remediating pollution at a site it once owned, according to an order signed Sept. 21 by a Delaware federal bankruptcy judge (In re: Reichhold Holdings US, Inc., et al., No. 14-12237, D. Del. Bkcy.).
