GM Ignition Switch Plaintiffs Say New GM Is Liable For Old GM’s Conduct

Mealey's (October 13, 2015, 10:15 AM EDT) -- NEW YORK — The plaintiffs in the ignition-switch lawsuit against the Motors Liquidation Co., f/k/a General Motors Corp. (Old GM), on Sept. 30 filed a brief in federal bankruptcy court arguing that the employees of New GM — the reorganized version of Old GM — can be charged with having knowledge of the practices of Old GM pertaining to the faulty ignition switches (In re: Motors Liquidation Company, et al., f/k/a General Motors Corp., et al., No. 09-50026, S.D. N.Y. Bkcy.).
