Podiatrist Pleads Guilty To Submitting False Medicare Claims, U.S. Attorney Says

(October 12, 2015, 1:55 PM EDT) -- HARTFORD, Conn. — The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut on Oct. 6 announced that a podiatrist based in Stamford, Conn., pleaded guilty to claims of submitting false claims to Medicare when billing the insurer for procedures for treating ingrown toenails instead of the routine foot care she was providing for patients.
