(October 12, 2015, 11:44 AM EDT) -- LAS VEGAS — A state statute that limits the recovery of noneconomic damages stemming from a health care provider’s negligence to $350,000 is not unconstitutional, a unanimous Nevada Supreme Court ruled Oct. 1 (Stephen Tam M.D. v. The Eighth Judicial District Court of the State of Nevada, in and for the County of Clark, et al., No. 66346, Nev. Supreme.; 2015 Nev. LEXIS 93).
