Judge Allows Residents’ Class Certification Experts In Chemical Spill Case

(October 9, 2015, 2:23 PM EDT) -- CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The federal judge in West Virginia presiding over the groundwater contamination lawsuit brought by residents who contend that a group of companies are liable for negligently allowing a chemical spill to taint their drinking water on Oct. 8 ruled that the residents’ experts on class certification were admissible, and he gave the plaintiffs time to file an extended brief arguing for class status (Crystal Good, et al. v.
