North Carolina Governor Signs Law Invalidating Local Rules Regulating Fracking

(October 8, 2015, 1:20 PM EDT) -- RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory on Oct. 1 signed a bill that invalidates and declares “unenforceable” any acts or resolutions passed by local entities seeking to prohibit or regulate oil and gas exploration through hydraulic fracturing.
