7th Circuit: Employer Must Allow Union To Investigate Where Employee Was Killed

(October 8, 2015, 10:25 AM EDT) -- CHICAGO — Union representatives must be allowed access to the factory where an employee was killed while working, the Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled Oct. 2, enforcing an order by the National Labor Relations Board (Caterpillar Inc. v. National Labor Relations Board, Nos. 14-3528 and 14-3729, 7th Cir.; 2015 U.S. App. LEXIS 17324).
