Judge Orders Government To Supplement Expert Disclosures In Oil Discharge Suit
(October 7, 2015, 11:52 AM EDT) -- MOBILE, Ala. — A federal judge in Alabama on Sept. 30 ruled that the government’s disclosures for five experts in a suit over allegedly illegal discharges of oily water from a vessel failed to satisfy Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 16 but denied the defendants’ request to exclude their opinions (United States of America v. DSD Shipping A.S., et al., No. 15-102, S.D. Ala.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 132451).
