Investor States Sign UNCITRAL Convention On Transparency In Arbitration

(October 6, 2015, 10:00 AM EDT) -- VIENNA, Austria — The United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) on Oct. 6 announced that the Republic of Congo, Gabon and Madagascar have signed the United Nations Convention on Transparency in Treaty-based Investor-State Arbitration (Mauritius Convention on Transparency).

UNCITRAL said the Mauritius Convention on Transparency was signed at a 2015 treaty event known as "Seventy Years of Multilateral Treaty Making at the United Nations." The event was held in New York.
