Nevada Supreme Court Says Administrative Remedies Come 1st Before Court Action

(October 5, 2015, 1:26 PM EDT) -- CARSON CITY, Nev. — The Nevada Supreme Court on Sept. 24 said a water rights holder must exhaust her administrative procedures even though in her case it may result in a junior priority date that doesn’t yield water (Petti E. Benson v. State Engineer of the State of Nevada, et al., No. 65833, Nev. Sup.; 2015 Nev. LEXIS 90).
