Tennessee High Court Finds Injury Claims Against City Are Time-Barred
(October 2, 2015, 3:23 PM EDT) -- NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Supreme Court on Sept. 18 reversed an appeals court decision that found that a man's injury-related claims against a city were time-barred, finding that he failed to show that an exception to a statute of limitations under the Tennessee Governmental Tort Liability Act (GTLA) applied (Richard Moreno v. City of Clarksville, No. 2013-01465-SC-R11, Tenn. Sup.; 2015 Tenn. LEXIS 741).
