Musician Says To 5th Circuit: Record Label Infringed Song’s Copyright

(October 1, 2015, 3:03 PM EDT) -- NEW ORLEANS — A record label and a band infringed the copyright of a song with another song, a musician argues to the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in an Aug. 20 brief, also saying that the label and band had access to the song and that the accused song is similar (Jose O. Guzman v. Hacienda Records and Recording Studio, Inc., et al., No. 15-40297, 5th Cir.).
