Louisiana Federal Magistrate Declines To Impose 90-Day Limit On Collective Filing

Mealey's (October 1, 2015, 9:27 AM EDT) -- MONROE, La. — A Louisiana federal magistrate judge on Sept. 18 declined dismiss a wage-and-hour collective action, finding that the 90-day time limit under Local Rule 23.1 was not applicable (Donald Hill, et al. v. Johnny’s Pizza House, Inc., No. 15-1062, W.D. La.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 125271).
