Ship Operator Argues It Is Additional Insured Under Pollution Liability Policy
Mealey's (September 29, 2015, 12:28 PM EDT) -- BOSTON — A ship operator seeking coverage as an additional insured for a diesel fuel spill in Boston argued in a Sept. 22 opposition to a motion to dismiss its counterclaim that the insurer has a duty to defend it as an additional insured because the policy at issue affords coverage “to the extent required by written contract” (Ironshore Specialty Insurance Co., et al. v. United States of America, et al., No. 15-12292, D. Mass.).
(Opposition to motion to dismiss available. Document #03-151001-001B.)
