Judge: Couple Fails To Show Fracking Disposal Well Contaminated Their Property
(September 28, 2015, 11:16 AM EDT) -- LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A federal judge in Arkansas on Sept. 25 dismissed a couple’s case that a hydraulic fracturing company trespassed on their property when it built a fracking fluids disposal well on neighboring land that was close enough to contaminate their property (Dale Stroud, et al. v. Southwestern Energy Company, et al., No. 12-500, E.D. Ark.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 129609).
