Judge Denies Dismissal Motions In Lead Paint Injury Case; Duty Of Care Breached
(September 25, 2015, 2:50 PM EDT) -- MILWAUKEE — A federal judge in Wisconsin on Sept. 15 denied motions by numerous companies that formerly manufactured lead-based paint that sought to dismiss a lead-paint poisoning lawsuit against them, ruling that the plaintiffs had sufficiently shown that the companies breached a duty of care (Glenn Burton Jr. v. American Cyanamid Company, et al., No. 07-0303, E.D. Wis.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 124681).
