Treanda Skin Injury Case Dismissed; Drug Label Warned Of Risks

(September 25, 2015, 2:46 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A New York federal judge on Sept. 15 dismissed a Treanda skin injury complaint brought by a plaintiff’s lawyer-wife, saying that most of her claims are foreclosed by adequate warnings on the cancer drug’s label (Isabel L. Becker, et al. v. Cephalon, Inc., et al., No. 14-3864, S.D. N.Y.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 123670).
