Judge Grants Insurer’s Summary Judgment Motion In Bad Faith Lawsuit
Mealey's (September 25, 2015, 7:23 AM EDT) -- PENSACOLA, Fla. — A federal judge in Florida in Sept. 6 granted an insurer’s motion for summary judgment in an insurance bad faith lawsuit, ruling that no genuine issue of material fact exists showing that the insurer acted in bad faith in handling an insured’s claim (Charles R. Hinson v. Titan Insurance Co., et al., No. 13-394, N.D. Fla.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 121666).
