Federal Compliance Issues Hampered ACA Rollout, Oversight Group Finds
(September 24, 2015, 1:27 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ failure to ensure that contractors working on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) federal marketplace complied with federal designation and certification requirements contributed to the delays and errors in its rollout, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) said in a Sept. 14 report.
